1. Boroscopy / Videoscopy Service

As per clients’ specific requirements, IUS provides services that are rendered with quality & production in mind, by commissioning state-of-the-art automated welding equipment.

Boroscopy / Videoscopy Services are extensively used for diverse applications & in several industries like Pharmaceuticals, Chemical plants, Food processing, piping plants, etc.

Objective

  • Pipes are inspected for internal surface finish & weld joints by taking high resolution images.
  • Best method for inspection & documentation of orbital welding joints.
  • To determine the occurrence of internal defects including corrosion, pitting or presence of foreign objects such as dust agglomerates, welding / grinding chips, cracks.
  • To determine the amount of erosion, other extraneous problems in the locations for examination.

2. Orbital Welding Service

Orbital welding is a technique whereby the welding tool is rotated through 360° around a static work piece to minimize the operator error in pipe / tube welding & allow for a uniform weld around pipes / tubes, which can be difficult to achieve with manual welding processes.

The orbital welding process can create high-quality repeatable welds with the use of a computer, meaning that there is little need for intervention from a welding operator.

3. Electropolishing Service

Electropolishing is an electrochemical process by which surface material is removed by anodic dissolution. Electropolishing is an electrochemical process that removes material from a metallic work piece, reducing the surface roughness by levelling micro-peaks & valleys, improving the surface finish of a metal such as stainless steel, leaving a smoother & more reflective surface.

Objective

  • Removes micro peaks & valleys resulting in ultra-polished surface finish.
  • Creates a clean, smooth surface that is easier to sterilize.
  • Improve anticorrosive properties.

4. Custom Design Equipment & Processes

Every system is designed, manufactured, and tested with a specific process. Proper installation of equipment is checked by various methods like Hydro test, pressure test, & slope verification and all necessary documents are provided as per CGMP standards which include DQ, OQ, IQ, P&ID, isometric, as-built, electrical drawings & all necessary certificates.

Acceptance Test

Factory Acceptance Test

All equipment is subjected to a stringent Factory Acceptance Test in our factory.

Customers are welcome to attend this FAT to review system construction, performance & documentation prior to dispatch of the equipment to site installation.

Site Acceptance Test

All equipment is subjected to a Site Acceptance Test. On-site testing of the equipment is done with all utility connections & reporting of test results of all the equipment & deviation handling.

It is done according to a specified procedure by our engineers in the presence of the Client.
